OK, let's give an end to this.  

The person who registered the complaint about the long lines is a non
native English speaker and possibly has misunderstood Rick's good intentions.

My mail reader in this account will not read past 80 characters.  In the
past I have contacted people whose long lines have made it impossible for
me to read their postings.  Please try and respect this requirement by
configuring your mail program or just hitting return at the end as John R
suggested.

If you have any comments, suggestions or complains about the way the list
is administered, please talk to the moderators.  Do not post non-3d related
