My apologies to the list vis a vis posting in Mime format. I had
reinstalled my mail-reader
and thought that HTML styled text was turned OFF by default - it wasn't,
but should be
now.
Thanks to all who responded to my questions. I understand now what is meant
by
'Carboarding'. So how do you avoid it? Is this a composition factor?
Regarding the heat sealed-mounts from Reel-3D etc - what setting on your
iron is best for
sealing them? Nylon? Cotton? Also, are those glassine sleeves a good
investment and can
you 'see' them if you view with them in place?
I was thinking of shooting a roll of B&W film and having my lab making an
enlarged contact
sheet, cutting out the pairs and mounting them myself. Any pitfalls I
should be aware of?
Separation distance? Does it vary with size? What about 1-hour labs
printing form a
Realist shot roll of film? Can most of them handle it?
Finally (yeah right), do any list members dabble in QTVR? I have fantasized
about 3D QTVR
but can't see how you could do it. Suggestions?
Thanks, Les Hall, Dallas, TX - cold and grey.
