In response to Les Hall's query, "what anaglyph filters do y'all use?".

I started out with lighting gels from a local theatrical supply
shop - Roscolux lighting gels #27 and #95.  See if you can obtain
a sample pack with dozens of colors that you can experiment with.

Better are Wratten gels, like #26 and #44a.

I found pictures with these combinations to have a strong red cast,
and resorted to doubling up the red, or adding a 50% neutral density
filter over it.  Result is a believable overall color when viewed
normally (overlooking numerous red-green fringes of course), and a
nice color anaglyph when viewed through the glasses.
