P3D Glass Plates

Bob Wier asked about glass plate stereographs (I think that is what he
had in mind)
I can't say much about it world wide, but the man who introduced me to
stereography and instructed me how to do it, old time photographer Henry
Frazier, of Clarksville Arkansas, showed me some glass stereo negatives
he had made in the 1930s of Clarksville subjects.
He and I established a good relationship while I spent 45 days in
Arkansas following my 2d tour in Vietnam, in 1968. He didn't have anyone
to "talk photography" with and I spent some enjoyable afternoons chatting
with him.
We continued our relationship after that by mail as I went to Germany for
my 4th tour there. He passed away while I was overseas and his children
had no interest in photography and trashed all his images, negatives and
equipment. What a waste!!!!!
