That's right. I assumed Bob was talking about conventional photography,
but since you bring it up - we still use glass plates at this observatory.
14x14 inches apiece, which makes for an interesting time in the handling.
Haven't yet managed to get a stereo pair with them though (baseline about
a lightyear required...), but will let you know if I do!
