P3D Re: 3D-CD glitch...

Wouldn't it be reasonable, as a compromise, to have all 
subscribers who submit postings sign an agreement or 
release that their postings are for 0ne-time use in the 
PHOTO-3D Digest and/or SELL-3D Digest and also 
One-time use in the PHOTO-3D archives and/or CD-Rom, 
with all other rights reserved to the writer, so that the writer 
could also sell and/or publish in other media, including 
Stereo Club Bulletins, PSA Journal, NSA Stereo World, 
Dimensions Three, 3-D Magazin, ISU Stereoscopy, Popular 
Photography,  other magazines, etc., with the provision that 
the editor of any  publication (including those listed above) 
must obtain the written or E-Mail permission of the writer, to 
give the writer the opportunity to correct typos or rewrite part 
of the article when appropriate or needed ???  Don't most of 
us do this with images, most of the time?  That is, don't most 
photographers   "RENT" images for specific, limited, specified 
usage, reserving other rights, including "renting" the image 
again and again for commercial advertising, magazine covers, 
posters, CD-ROM covers, encyclopedias, etc.???  If, in fact, 
posting to PHOTO-3D Digest gives PHOTO-3d DIGEST the 
copywrite, wouldn't it be an infringment of that copywrite for 
the writer to publish elsewhere, unless the above proposed 
agreement and/or release is put into effect???  Lawyers, what 
does the LAW say about this propossed arrangement?   
Wouldn't this satisfy everyone???  I'm all for freedom of 
exchange of information, but protection of the writers' right to 
publish elsewhere in the future!  Is ther anyone who disagrees 
with this proposed solution????
