P3D Aerial 3d !

Met a person in the building I work in today. He works in the
photogrametry section with 3d-photos taken from planes. There is a
single camera on the plane that takes a progression of  photos while
flying along freeways and other highway consturction projects. The
transparencies are scanned into a computer, which dislplays two images,
alternating between them many times per second. Each image has a
different polarized orientation, which is done by the computer. The
viewer wears the  usual polaroid glasses that we are familiar with. I
took a gander at the image, the trees and cars looked really tall
because of how far apart the baseline is. He said that is how they
planned it, so they could see the verical heights more clearly. Imagine
