Yes, I seem to recall seeing a comment in the British photo press
recently, but can't remember where, about possible damage to
motion-picture film in airport X-ray machines. Why they should suffer,
while still pictures are OK, I couldn't make out, and can't understand.

I do recall though, reading a letter from a pro photographer, who
discovered a roll of velvia in the bottom of his camera bag once. It had
been back and forward through airport security many times, on
international assignments, and had gone unnoticed in the recesses of the
bag. By then, a couple of years out of date to boot, he processed the
film, and noticed little more than a slight magenta cast. So there *is*
hope, even if your trannies are blasted by the blasted X-rays!
