Excellent advice!!  That is exactly what I do.  (Well, I've actually
been known recently to shoot *three* different films in three stereo
cameras.)  For 20 years or more of shooting with an SLR I wished that
I had two camera bodies so I could shoot both prints and slides to
get the advantages of both.  But the cost of multiple SLRs and lenses
was prohibitive.  With the low cost of the Realist and many other
'50s stereo cameras, this approach is within reach for many, many
stereographers.  I highly recommend doing this!
