- Subject: P3D PSSP meeting, competition, & membership info.

**Tonight's Meeting:**
Sorry for the late notice! The Potomac Society of Stereo
Photographers will meet tonight at 7:30pm in the conference
room, 2nd District Police Headquarters, 3320 Idaho Avenue,
NW, Washington DC. E-mail me for directions if need be.
On the program are:
PSA Traveling Exhibition: All of the accepted images in the
PSA Traveling Exhibition, some of PSA's finest tereo images
from around the world. There is no set topic, so the subject
matter will vary. Three PSSP members without slides in the
exhibition will judge.
Whitaker Travel Competition: PSSP members will have the
opportunity to enter up to four images in any stereo format.
Subject matter is "Travel" (outside 50 miles of Wash. DC).
Photos must have been taken within the last two years.
They must 'capture a feeling of a time and place, and portray
a land, a people or culture in its natural state.'
Show-and-Tell: Either any slides you'd like to show, or a
show by Bill Duggan will be given.
**Next month's competition:**
The PSSP Lawson Sequence competition will be in March.
This is a competition involving 2-18 slide sequences telling
a story on any subject. Slides may be accompanied by
a live or taped script and/or music. There should be a method
for letting the projectionist know when to change slides.
Collaborative efforts are allowed.
**Membership/bulletin subscription information:**
In case you live outside the DC metro area, you are still
eligible for full membership to the PSSP. You will have
the right to enter club competitions with the following
stipulations: 1) entries must be sent and returned through a
PSSP member who can BRING them to the competitions,
and 2) if an entrant outside the geographic area wins first place
in a PSSP competition, his/her name will be inscribed on the
trophy, but the trophy will remain here, and only the medal will
be mailed to the entrant. Individual memberships are $10, and
family memberships are $12. To be a subscribing member to
the bulletin only, it is $7.50 (US) or $10 (all other countries).
By virtue of being a member, you will receive the bulletin.
The membership year is September through May. Checks
should be made payable to PSSP, and sent to Bill Duggan,
APSA. Please e-mail him directly for his address since I
haven't asked advance permission to give it out. His e-mail
address is WDuggan3D@xxxxxxxx
Thanks for your time!
Adam
