I, too, have had the opportunity to shoot on the glass. It was extremely
difficult due to the glass! I had dual SLRs (it's hardly worth it with a
stereo camera) and it was nearly impossible to have both lenses right at
the glass to avoid reflections. They actually had a "photo hole", just
smaller than a puck, but of course that was only good for one lens! I
believe I shot ASA 800- metering is tricky due to the abundunce of white
ice... I got some decent shots, but the usually one lens was a bit messy.

You can see a slight sync poblem on the hockey stick!
