P3D Revere's parallax correction
- From: Klaas Morcus <k.morcus@xxxxxx>

Several months ago I started a thread on the parallax correction on the
Revere 33 camera.
I did not see any difference when using the lever of the parallax
corrector on my Revere 33. In P3D several people reacted and no one
could see any difference.....
However, what I read in Jess Powells book (one of his Stereo Camera
Series) , is very remarkable. I quote Jess:
"The rangefinder being at the top center gives vertical parallax, but no
horizontal parallax. However, a levercontrol on the back lens does help
immensely in the vertical parallax problem" End of quotation.
Between "helping immensely" and "helping not" is quite a difference.
What is wrong here?
Perhaps the corrector helps immensely in a Wollensak only? (In his book
Mr.Powell says he owns 2 Wollensaks)
Perhaps I (and others) do or understand something wrong?
Thanks for reactions!
Klaas
