In any projection system, if the lens used is close to "normal" (with
"normal" defined as being appr. equal to the diagonal of the image frame
on the film) then the "ortho seat" is at a distance equal to the diagonal
of the screen.

This is true for the Realist and for Boris' SLR w/50mm lenses.
