P3D standards conversion of field-sequential 3D video

Someone (I think it was Marvin) said that it wasn't possible to
convert field-sequential 3D video between the NTSC, PAL & SECAM standards.
This isn't quite true.  It is true that off-the-shelf standards converters
will corrupt the 3D content of field-sequential 3D video, BUT there
is specialised equipment available which will allow field-sequential
3D video to be converted between video standards without corrupting
the 3D content.
