If the reel is manually rotated, the left image can also be
viewed, now upside down. ..So if one View-Master projected the
right image while another (upside down) View-Master projected
the left image, add some polarizing gels and glasses, and you
have an awkward, but useable, 3-D projection format. ..And as
someone else mentioned, two identical reels would also be needed
for both projectors. Duel inventory?  No thanks!!
