A phrase that I mentioned to George in my private email response to his "survey"
is applicable I think.

The term is "Realist format compatible".  To me "realist format" is the 5P slide mount
and the Realist system around it.  7P, RBT's, etc are all "Realist format compatible"
or can be used in that fashion.

This kind of verbage is used in other fields semi-successfully in taming
the nit-pickers (like me).  As an example, various non-Microsoft OS's 
have been "DOS Compatible".  Different but inter-workable.  More or less.

Their current level of success is indeed, very very limited.  It had
been much higher in the past, even if not dominant then.
