Sorry to jump on your jump, Boris, but most K-1000s made the past few
years (they just stopped months ago, new inventory still widely
available) were made in the People's Republic of China.  I've never seen
one from Taiwan (though they could have been making tham there, too), I
have seen K-1000's made in Japan and Hong Kong (the latter of which no
longer exists!)  Rob
