I use half blue roscoe; seems perfect for a K2 @ midrange in the dimmer,
and stays fairly effective at max and min. This stuff is made to do just
what we're asking... turn tungston to daylight. It can take the heat and
shouldn't fade. Full blue too much for my taste, designed for higher
illumination.
I've cut a good pattern for the K2... hooks to the reflector and sits
directly in front of the lamp w/o interference with the carrier. Several
people have contacted me for one; email if interested...
