Something doesn't make sense, George.  Have you used the jig for
7P slides also?  When you first discovered the problem with the
5P mounts, you said the 7P mounts did not have the same problem.
If the mounting jig magically corrects for the aperture alignment
problem of the 5P mount, then won't it introduce anomalies into
the mounting of chips in 7P mounts? (Assuming the jig does not
operate differently for 5P and 7P mounts.)
