P3D 750 watt bulbs

As for using 750 watt bulbs, I purchased a 116 in which the owner used 750
watt bulbs. The cord connection was completely burned out as were the bulb
sockets. One of the sockets was cracked, the other so badly burned that the
ring holding the bayonet bulb had overheated and come out completely.
If  one studies the 716-- a 750 watt machine, he will find that there is no
plug-in, the cord is wired in direct. Secondly the bulb sockets are ceramic as
opposed to Bakelite. otherwise they are identical internally. Changers are
different of course.
