What really annoys me is people who send messages from their mail system
without setting the line wrap feature, thus creating a single line
message (as the one below arrived) that I have to use the horizontal
scroll bar to read the entire message.

Actually, I have added a "filter" to my brain to translate claims of 3D
into "3D representation in 2D space".  That way, as I read the material,
I know that it's just perspective drawing unless the literature actually
talks about 2 views & viewing mechanisms.  So, rather than being
disappointed when I find "they" are talking about persepctive drawing,
I've come to expect it.  And, I'm surprised and delighted when I find
"they" are talking about true 3D.
