Of course alot of the great photographers and painters have 
pursued this area. As much as I love a pretty face (or body),
I think images of weatherworn faces and/or bodies invoke much
more powerful feelings. I prefer the everyday images and the
magic for me is capturing what we take for granted. As one

Does an exciting photo require a spectacular location,
startling event or famous subject? I don't think so. Why
not reveal the beauty in ordinary things - the Everyday
Magic?

I would much rather look at a spectacular photo of an
ordinary subject than an ordinary photo of a spectacular

That is why I tend to go more for "snapshot" style images.
