P3D Disagreement over garbage and bugs

No, you are not exaggerating slightly... you are exaggerating A LOT.

Regarding garbage, my exact final words were: "garbage is garbage,
and making good stereo photography out of garbage is a great challenge."

There are those (like myself) who like challenges and might actually
be inspired by this sentence, especially since it is coming from someone
with considerable influence. :-) If Detroit ever picks "Garbage" as a
competition assignment, I'll give it my best shot!

Also, the reference to bugs is twisted. I never said that bugs are
boring and people should not photograph them. I picked SEM bugs as a
subject that has good stereo, detail, and information but lacks other
aspects found in good photography. I was not condemning any specific
subject but was trying to show that there is more to stereo photography
than stereo, per the equation:

  stereo photography: stereo + photography
