P3D Things to do with a Wray Stereographic ?

I have a Wray Stereographic that is currently relegated to 5th user camera. 
The main reason for this is the poor quality lenses.

As it is such a light camera I do not yet consider it a write-off. 
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas how to move it up the rankings.

Would it be easy to replace the lenses and where would I source them (UK) ?

Would cutting the lense housing off altogether and turning it into a pinhole
stereo camera be feasible (or indeed morally acceptable). 

Would the hackers amongst you care to suggest something.
