Some time ago, the Stereosoc Journal reported that Duvalls (in London)
had found a load of new-old stock Iloca front panels.
I seem to remember an item in the SSJournal where someone used one
to replace the front of a Wray. Sorry I cant remember more details -
I bet Bob Aldridge would (or Colin Clay?). I dont suppose it's that
 easy though!.
Also, while the Wray isnt the best of cameras (vignetting is at the
top of my list), it_does_ have that wonderful 'smile' on the front
(the aperture control forming a 'nose', and I wouldn't want to cut up
a reasonable example of this friendly chap.

Unless you made the body longer - the vignetting problem would almost
certainly get worse (!), and you risk losing what passes for exposure
control on the Wray (fixed 1/50 sec), but if you were going for very
long exposure experiements, it could have a place. Really, I think it
is an exceptionally crummy lens which can be beaten by a pinhole.

PP>Would the hackers amongst you care to suggest something.
All the above is theoretical. When someone with more practical
experience replies, cuck this in the outbox!

If you want me to search old SS journals, say the word.

Cheers
