P3D garbage in...garbage out - SQUARED

Just my dual cents worth:

     One special consideration of stereo imagery in regards to subject
matter is that it can make everything HYPERREAL. I once snapped a mongrel
pup on a filthy pavement for that, er, pathos appeal. BUT, I couldn't stand to
view the slide because the yucky pavement detail was to much to bear. Likewise,
shots I had of a Halloween -y ghoul display and a toothsome, museum dinosaur 
were eventually not mounted because the closeup, flashlit, gruesome
details in 3-D didn't sit too well with me. Even though viewing them for real
before shooting them didn't affect me at all. Just the claustrophobic intimacy
of placing the slides in the viewer to my eyes was too uncomfortable.
