As an alternative to stereo competitions, consider joining the
Stereoscopic Society of America.  Here are the advantages:

- Do it at your home... no need to go anywhere or talk to anyone!
- See other people's work and comment on it!
- Receive feedback on your own work!
- Still get to vote (but don't have to) on your favorite images
  and feel proud to see your own pictures get some votes too!
- Make life-lasting friendships though the process of sharing
  stereo images.

It is a fine learning process!  I have been a SSA member for 5
years now and I like it so much that I joined all the Realist-format
slide circuits and now I am volunteering for folio secretary
in one of them (Gamma).

What you are waiting for?  Join the fun!!!
