I think I may have one of the "holograms" that Adam L. Beckerman wrote
about in photo-3d digest 2624. The advert described it as a 3D image which
apeared to follow the observer as they moved but did not actualy use the
term hologram although the description could aply to a pseudoscopic
hologram ie one viewed from the back or at a very shallow angle. The rather
monocolour orange colour in the illustration also suggested a dichromated
hologram ,in fact it turned out to be an actual plaster negative copy of
the mask of Tutankhamun with a tungsten light in the base which came out
very orange in the photograph because of its low colour temperature. It is
quite effective but not actualy 3D as we think of it in this group.
