Well, Bitstream makes fonts and software products for typography and
electronic publishing. One product, TrueDoc, allows designers to use
arbitrary fonts in their Web pages, and to have Netscape and Internet
Explorer browsers display the correct fonts. Another, JET (Java-enabled
Type) allows any Java platform to perform a host of typographic operations.
As a demo of JET, the author put together some examples of type in 3D,
viewable through anaglyph glasses.
Our Web site (http://www.bitstream.com) is going to get a major redesign
next week, but I'm not sure if the 3D type will be up there or not.
