P3D Viewing 2x2 slide pairs

What's the preferred way to view 2x2 slide pairs?  I'm experimenting with a
twin rig now, and I'd like to see some results quickly and easily, but I
don't want to invest in expensive new viewers, etc.  I know Reel-3D has
inexpensive 2x2 viewers made from paired single viewers, and also more
expensive steal-the-light 2x2 viewers complete with adapter frames, etc.
and comments on these or other options?
