You can get a lot these days for $2500. Here are some thoughts off the
top of my head:

1. Buy a GOOD monitor - One that can go to 120 Herzt. (is that right?)
This is more important that size IMO.

2. Get at _least_ a 4MB video board.

3. Make sure you get some LCS glasses to allow you to enjoy JPS images
at their best.

4. Get lots of memory. 128 MB is cheap these days.

5. Get lots of HD space 8MB will not last as long as it sounds like it
might.

6. Make sure you have a way to save important data. (Zip? CD-RW? Jazz?
Etc?)
