Hello fellow 3-d enthusiasts,
Last night was the monthly Chicago Stereo CC meeting.  There were some great
cards to look over as the 1st ever Lighthouse cards were on display and we had
a small bi-monthly slide competition.  In attendance we had 3 visitors and
about 15 of our regulars on hand. The meeting "turnout" was a little lower
than normal, but during the month of Lighthouse judging, it's like having two
monthly meetings -- one of them an "all-dayer", so the low turnout is not
unusual.   On a positive note -- all three visitors indicated they would be
back and joining the club, so that's encouraging.

The Club held it's annual Lighthouse judging (on March 7th) and for the first
year we solicited card entries.  We had approximately 45 stereographers
submitting cards and 90 stereographers submitting slides.  From the card
entries approximately 
 180 cards --   63  were accepted in the show
 360 slides -- 169  were accepted

The 1998 (50th) Chicago Lighthouse Exhibition showing dates will be as
follows:

       There is also a possibility of a Friday, April the 22nd showing.  If
that, if fact happens, I will post the time and location.  There is a $4
minimum donation payable at the door or a club member can send you a ticket.
The entire amount of the donation goes to our sponsor, the Chicago Lighthouse
for the blind -- a very worthy cause.  I hope some of you will be able to
attend at least one of the showings.  
        Chicago Stereo Camera Club meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month. We
show stereo slides virtually every meeting (exc. Oct.), 8:00 pm.  12 S.
Michigan Ave, Chicago Athletic Association Building.
Ask the doorman for directions.
