Ron Labbe asks,

The specifications they give are that the resolution is
720x486. I have recently been told that HDTV promises
much higher resolution than this so I can't imagine
how much better this will be than DVD already is.
But in meantime DVD on computer will come in a close
second! So John R., I take back what I said about HDTV. :-)

Anaglyph has been a complete flop on the present NTSC
system and LCS type stereo adequate. But it will take
something like DVD or HDTV for 3-D to have an impact
on the general public and for 3-D imaging in general to
make inroads.
