Dan, please let me handle this. :-)  No.  It is a matter of content.
If my web site is dealing with repairing Realist cameras and viewers
then it belongs to P3d.  Dan's site had the best collection of stereo
books.  That's P3d material.  If however your site's focus is on using
computers to create stereo images then it is D3d material. 

As Dan said, P3d is the "mother" of the 3d lists.  We have shifted the
discussion from changing P3d to creating a new list.  I see this as 
something being added to our knowledge and experinces, not subtracted.
Ron Labbe summed it nicely when he said that this "digital 3d" field
is of such nature (rapid changing, potential for future impact) that
deserves its own space to grow.

It is all up the Bob et. al to tell us if they are willing to add this
new twist and carry the workload.  That's how I see it.
