Peter,
That was the original point. The moderators have decided that the original
charter does not allow for extensive digital 3D discussion. So, we are
trying to figure out a way to "allow" it.
The two options are:
1. modify the P3D "charter" to allow that new discussion and possibly lose
some members who are not interested any longer...
2. add a "daughter" list to allow for the growth and inclusion of the new,
expanding digital field and not offend those who might have left...
One bonus of option #2 is that people who might leave P3D from frustration
about a lack of freedom to discuss digital 3D things will have a place to
"grow". As I said beofre everyone who is even remotely interested could
just be a member of both lists and not miss anything. It would still all be
one large P3D family...
As I said to Dr. T a little while ago. I stopped going to Alt.3D because it
became to narrow in it's "3D" focus - not allowing for true stereoscopic 3D
discussion. In a way, that has happened on P3D with Digital stereo 3D.
Let's not let people get to a place where they leave like I and MANY others
did with Alt.3D...
Enough said...
Dan
