P3D Re: C3D

I used to read Popular Photography religiously every month, until I 
got to feeling that I had read most of the current articles previously,
say a year to five years before. I dropped out for quite a few years,
until a very generous offer came up. This time it only took me a year 
to quit the subscription

I had been getting similar feelings about P3D, especially since I had
started a new and very demanding job, and free time was getting tight.
Then Andrea turns out be experienced in macro stereo, which has fascinated
me for years, so I'm hoping for a lively discussion of macro stereo.

I'm in favor of a starting a new group for computer-related stereo; the
fact that the new job is with Silicon Graphics should be reason enough.

[However, I do think we need two new groups: one for earnest discussions
of whether the Realist is the pinnacle of stereo photography, and the
other for competitive photography, for counting First Places & Honorable
Mentions. We could call the first R3D, for "religious", while if D is 
taken for "digital" we could give C to "competitive".]
