P3D 2x2

In response to all the discussion about twin 35mm format, let me say:
1) No manufacturer is ever going to build another Realist format camera
2) In Europe the trend is to twin 35 in one way or another, either two cameras
or a
Siamese twin Minolta, Nikon , RBT or whatever. Remember that with the
exception of Germany, very few 5 sprocket cameras were marketed in Europe, and
in France, virtually NONE!
Therefore, a new stereographer has limitations and more than likely he will
tend toward the modern camera with motor drive, auto exposure, auto focus etc.
My conclusion therefore that the future of stereo photography is in the twin
35. I do not preclude the use of larger formats, cropping to 7 sprocket,
special macros etc.
