P3D Stereo images in this month's Pop Photo

The April issue of Popular Photography has four (inadvertant?) stereo pairs
that can be viewed wall-eyed. The feature article "Kodak vs. Fuji films"
sets up the same lady subject photographed with Kodak Gold 100 and Fuji
Superia 100, then the 200s, then 400, etc. It seems like two cameras were
used, each loaded with competing film: Fuji left and Kodak right. Well, the
result was a pleasant surprise -- great stereo shots. It looked like both
cameras were fired fairly simultaneously and the spacing is only mildly hyper.
Because of the way the pairs were printed in the magazine, I had to z-fold
the page to get them closer together to be able to wall-eye fuse (fold it
like you used to do the back page of Mad magazine to bring the two halves
together for the punch line). Too bad the stereo pairs are on pages 65 and
66 (back to back) so cuting them out ruins one pair. Also, the pair of
photos on page 54 comparing two lenses is not a good stereo pair. My eyes
almost popped out from the rivalry between the two shots!
