Sorry for not responding earilier to the "lenticular" queries. Our move to
Las Vegas has been very difficult since it's taking us much longer than
expected to get re-organized and re-settled. We are making progress, but it
has cost us dearly in terms of time.
So to answer some previously asked questions..
the lenticular of John Wayne both smoking and holding a camera were taken
as "studio" shots with a modified Bonnett camera by a famous Hollywood
Studio. There's an article somewhere (of course, I can't locate it) about
the entire process and even a little about the camera and the Studio's plan
to take these lenticular photos of the general public (another failed 3D
project). The photos taken of the movie stars in costumes were displayed
in movie lobbies in order to promote the upcoming film. I'm hoping to have
an article written for INSIDE 3D Magazine on this particular 3D era.
as for INSIDE 3D - we're looking to have a professional company do the
printing so that it can come out in a timely manner - 4 times a year. It
looks very very promising.
as for the NSA convention in Richmond - Andrew and I can't bring our vast
3D inventory so unfortunately there won't be any large room to browse
around in and no lenticulars to view. We always felt that 3D enthusiasts
should have the opportunity to see and touch 3D items but all sorts of
reasons make this impossible for us this year. We will be at the Trade
Fair with a table, however. I'm sure there will be plenty of rooms open for
room hopping and plenty of 3D items to look at.
Regards,
Dalia
P.S. For our customers and INSIDE 3D Magazine subscribers - a new Sales
Catalog is in the works and should be out in 2 weeks. We have added some
new stereo products that aren't available elsewhere and of course, lots of
excellent View-Master items.
Our website has been expanding and we will continue to expand it:
