I agree! When I started drawing stereo pairs a few years ago I wasn't online
and couldn't get any information on the subject. I figured it out myself by
drawing lines and freeviewing them. Also by comparing some stereo pairs and
trying to see what the differences were. On some of the drawings I had over an
inch and a half of disparity between the two! Ouch! Ray Zone told me about the
Arthur Girling book and I think I found it for $13.00 U.S. from Reel 3-D.
Between that book and hounding Mr. Zone for a year my drawings went from being
terrible to being quite mediocre! (that's an improvement sort of) Anyway, I
just wanted to say that if you enjoy drawing/cartooning to begin with, stereo
is more than twice as satisfying. Also, you may want to avoid drawing
anaglyphs with colored pencils. I hunted high and low for the correct colors
and at best the anaglyphs looked rough and lousy. Drawing separate pairs
worked better for me.
You can check out some of the stuff I did at::

Far from perfect but I hope you can enjoy them anyway! Thanks!
