P3D big anaglyph jpeg

Trying to promote 3D through the internet, I put numerous anaglyphs on
my web site. I use jpeg format but I can not make a height compression
because jpeg shift color and degrade anaglyph.

Recently I enlarge near two time one of then, and realized that this
operation is better in 3D than 2D. Pixelisation seams not a great problem!
I think we prefer big image with bad resolution and good depth than small
with correct resolution but small depth.

If you want to experiment by yourself. Try :
http://www.chez.com/alpesstereo/lesGrands.html
for each image (and jpeg file) you can choose a width from 450 pixels up to
1600 pixels. Fill the surface (and the depth) of your screen and compare
with a small one.
It is better on a big calibrated screen and millions colors.

Now I think, it's better to make a smaller 3D anaglyph, store it in jpeg no
too compressed and enlarge it in the viewer program than using recommended
jpeg compression for 2D images.

any comment?
