P3D Computer Stereoscopic Display

I've been off the list for a while and would appreciate anyone's help in
providing a brief update regarding the following:

1 - There had been a debate over stereoscopic computer
viewers/formats on this list a while back.  Is there now a concensus
regarding the system with least flicker, best resolution, etc?  Also,
was a comparison chart ever produced regarding these various systems?

2 - Have any manufacturers offered a Macintosh compatible system?
