P3D Duplex Super 120

Lester asks about the Duplex Super 120.
I've had one for over 20 years, and I love it!
It is small, lightweight, well built, has sharp contrasty lenses, and is
easy to use. It has a reduced base (30mm), which is excellent for portrait
and close work. (This looks great in projection.) All of the stills at my
web-site were shot with this camera.
The distance and DOF scales are metric, and the shutter speeds are "P"
(bulb), 1/10, 1/25, 1/50, 1/100 and 1/200. It has both flashbulb and
electronic flash synch connectors.
Because it shoots 24 "Realist Format" images on each 120 roll, mounting the
pictures takes a bit of care. (There are no 35mm type 'rails' to assist
with alignment.)
I have also used a pair of Nikon eyepiece diopters over the lenses, to take
extreme close ups, (from 9 to 18 inches away). A standard 'narrow window'
mount makes these viewable.
In 1976, mine cost $100, (in London). I've seen more recent prices of up
to $800.
Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions about this camera.
