Let me give you an editor's perspective. I have never seen Stereo World,
but I can say this with certainty: Creating a professional-quality
magazine or newsletter is a massive, thankless job. You simply cannot
imagine how much backbreaking work goes into it.
Besides all the work, there's the whining from the board of directors, the
complaints from the writers (if you are lucky to get any.) And people will
go out of their way to point out some minor error, and never think to say
thanks or offer a compliment.
Speaking from experience, I'd suggest you write a letter to the editor,
telling him how much you've appreciated the fine cover art, the exellent
illustrations, the writing, the layout. Then offer to write an article or
do some research. It's certainly NOT the editor's job to track down
writers and stories.
And if this editor is a volunteer, then all my comments go triple.
