Bien sur!
With cameras side by side, the flashes are at the same height.
This results in horizontal shadows. Since the shadows are correctly
vertically aligned, the eyes can fuse the two shadows.
Placing the cameras bottom to bottom, the flashes are at different
heights which results in vertical displacement of the two shadows.
This results in problems trying to fuse the misaligned shadows.
Assuming you have shadows in your pictures.
