With a modern monitor, there are no problems getting a decent
(if not good) representation of black/white and color anaglyphs.
The monitorcolors are standardized, and balance, gamma, and
intensity can be adjusted. If not from the outside then inside the box.
The problem is the red and cyan filters. They must be matched very
accurately to reduce colordistortion in coloranaglyphs and to give
pure grays in black/white anaglyphs. I only have two glasses with
proper filters, and there is no name printet on them. So they are
(were) made, but by who ? I got them as a gift several years ago
from a college, who was cleaning out his desk.

Another problem is the compression algoritms of the JPEG generators.
The JPGs that Tom Deering made in Photoshop were without (excessive)
distortion, but the files were as big as PNGs. With a resonable
picturesize - 640 x 480 or 800 x 600 it gives a long (to long ?)
downloadtime with the modems and landlines of to day. All other
graphic programs, that I have used, introduces distortion in some
JPGs - but not in all, as can be seen at:

The reason for this diversity in compression-differences and the
connection with the content af the individual anaglyphs I do not
understand, and an explanation would be appreciated in sd-3d.
