Dan,

It's still possible to find commercially made stereo adapters for 35mm
cameras.  The Pentax turns up from time to time, priced anywhere from $150
to $300 I'd say.  However, this is pretty much designed for normal
(50-55mm) lenses at f/5.6.  The Stitz (and Miida, I believe) adaptors
actually have some aperture and mirror angle adjustments to accomodate
various focal lengths.  These are rare, though, and I've never seen one for
less than about $250 (adapter alone, without the viewer).

There are others around also.  I just picked up a Chinese-made one that
looks similar to the Pentax, but I haven't tested it yet.
