P3D Is the math necessary?

Sure it is possible to take good stereo pictures without any math.
I am the living proof of this.  I believe worrying about the 
math is a sign of insecurity.  Good math does not help take good
pictures.

I cured my insecurity by doing the math 10 years ago.  This excercise
gave me a good understanding of how things work. I have not used any
formulas nor done any measurements for years.  I now let my intuition 
guide me.
