I have been wanting to have these instructions for some time, so pleased
that they are posted here. The instructions do not mentioned what the
gasket material should be, can I use leather? , can I buy a replacement
gasket from anywhere?

I would rather not take my VM Personal apart without having a suitable
replacement gasket available. I read in an early PHOTO-3D digest that the
reason that shutter bounce occurs is because of hardening of the material.
What are the original gaskets made from, and was the design or material
ever changed?

For the benefit of myself and others any advice on what material might be
suitable would be appreciated.
