P3D What are these???

I recently picked up a couple of new stereo items that I had questions
about:

1) Keystone Home viewer - This item is a metal stereo print viewer with
a face plate about 3x4 inches, no adjustment on the lenes, focus is
achieved by positioning the back plate. Based upon some of the
photographs/snapshots this item looks to be from the 50's. What I found
very interesting is that the images are prints not slides to be viewed. The
images are printed side by side on the same sheet of photographic paper
and then these were mounted to a mat board. Was there a camera that
went along with this or was it meant for any brand available? How about
the printing of the images, was that done by special labs/order? Has
anyone used this to make a viewer for photographic prints rather than
slides? This is a very nice pocket size viewer.

2) Realist Mounting Kit - I got this along with a new camera. There are no
instructions with this other than the slide mount instructions from their
vendor. There are two gadgets that I don't understand there use. One
has an electrical cord and is about 3x4x2 inches with a slot on top, but
not very deep - is this to seal the old slide mounts? The second item looks
like it was to be used for positioning the film chips, but why. This is a
black frame with two openings and then two "plugs" with handles. Does
anyone have a set of instructions they would xerox for me on this kit?
